[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평군은 지난 2일과 3일 양일간 제1회 청춘역 1979 페스티벌을 개최했다고 7일 밝혔다.

 

이날 축제는 가요제를 진행했으며, 메인 무대에서는 경연을 통해 새롭게 뜬 아기별들이 빛을 내었고 이와 함께 빅스타가 축하공연이 진행됐다. 

 

가평군은 이번 축제를 통해 70·80세대의 향수를 불러일으키는 동시에 현 젊은 세대들의 음악적 본능을 자극하고자 축제를 기획하였음은 물론, 청평지역 경제 활성화를 위한 방안으로 지역먹거리지도를 제작 배포하고 농산품 판매부스, 플릿마켓, 배달존을 운영하는 등 축제에 심혈을 기울였다.

 

본 무대에는 총 480팀에 달하는 음악인들이 지원하여 이슈몰이를 하였고 조매력이라는 100만 유튜버가 라이브 스트리밍을 하기 위해 현장에서 모습을 보이는 등 진귀한 광경이 연출되는 축제였다.

480개 팀 중 32팀만이 예선과 본선에 진출하여 음악성을 선보였고 다양한 장르의 음악으로(밴드, 국악, 재즈, 힙합, R&B 등) 공연의 스펙트럼을 넓혔다. 

 

경연대회 중 특히나 눈에 띄는 가수가 있었는데, 이번 무대의 우승자인 채인케이(chae in k)가 그 주인공이다. 파워풀한 발성과 매력적인 음색의 소유자인 채인케이는 자작곡인 “by me”를 불러 관중들의 시선을 사로잡았다.

 

그리고 청춘역1979 제1회 페스티벌에서 입상한 10개팀에 대해서는 음악역1939 녹음실을 활용 음반을 제작을 지원할 예정이다.   

 

각각의 예선무대가 끝나면 이전 강변가요제 출신의 유명가수의 축하무대가 진행됐다.

첫날엔 허스키하지만 시원한 음색의 가수 박혜경과 특유의 창법으로 사람들의 귀를 사로잡는 김필이 축하공연을 했다. 

 

이튿날엔 마음을 울리는 가수 이상은과 "신호등", "가을타나봐" 등의 곡으로 유명한 가수 이무진이 축제장의 분위기를 절정으로 이끌었다. 

 

서태원 가평군수는 “여러분 한분 한분 켜주신 불빛이 모여 장관을 이루듯, 우리 함께 즐거운 가평군을 만들어 갔으면 좋겠다며, 이후 모두가 즐길 수 있는 축제가 다시 개최되길 염원한다.”라고 말했다.

 

축제를 즐기던 지역 주민은 “집 앞에서 돗자리 하나로 모든 걸 즐길 수 있는 청춘역1979 페스티벌을 개최해 주어 너무 감사하다며, 이런 기회를 매년 마련해 주었으면 좋겠다.”고 말했다.
