[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 화천이 미래형 인재육성을 위한 청소년 교육프로그램을 하반기부터 본격적으로 가동한다고 전했다. 

화천 청소년 수련관은 여름방학 기간 중 청소년들의 전문 자격취득 강좌를 개설해 자기역량 신장의 기회를 제공키로 했고 우선 내달부터 ITQ 자격증 취득반를 운영하며 1차 교육은 오는 7월21일부터 8월12일까지, 2차 교육은 오는 8월20일부터 27일까지 시행된다고 했다.

참여 학생들은 16회차에 걸친 수업을 통해 오는 8월28일 치러질 ITQ 자격증 시험에 도전하게 되며 대상은 지역의 12~19세 청소년이고, 교육은 청소년수련관 스마트 전산실에서 진행되고 신청은오는 7월5일부터 15일까지 수련관을 방문하거나 온라인으로 접수하면 된다고 밝혔다. 

또한 화천 청소년 수련관은 8월부터 4차 산업 융․복합 인재양성을 위한 ‘찾아가는 드론체험 교육지원사업’을 추진하며 4차 사업의 유망분야인 드론을 첨단교육 기회가 부족한 지역의 청소년들에게 제공해 미래 핵심산업에 대한 학습기회를 제공하겠다는 취지라고 전했다. 

교육은 오는 8월8~9일, 11~12일, 총 4일에 걸쳐 진행되며 대상은 12~16세 지역 청소년들로, 신청은 내달 25일부터 8월2일까지 선착순으로 접수할 수 있고 교육에서는 코딩 드론에 대한 기초 지식, 시뮬레이션 가상 조종, 드론 비행패턴 학습과 실제 조종기를 이용한 장애물 회피 드론 비행, 드론 조종대회 등이 이어진다고 했다. 

최문순 화천군수는 “화천의 어린 학생들이 다양한 분야에 걸친 양질의 교육지원을 받을 수 있도록 더 나은 기회를 지속적으로 제공하겠다”고 말했다.
