이날 전달식에는 홍미영 회천2동장을 비롯해 김후규 체육회장, 유태관 덕계고등학교장, 체육회 관계자 등 9명이 참석했다고 전했다.

이번 훈련지원금 전달금은 어려운 환경 속에서도 열심히 훈련하는 육상 꿈나무들을 위해 회천2동 체육회 이사들이 개인적으로 회비를 모아 마련한 것으로 올해로 4번째라고 했다.

김후규 체육회장은 “앞으로 덕계고 육상부의 발전을 위해 지속적으로 훈련지원금 전달 사업을 추진하겠다”며 “빠른 시일 내에 코로나19 사태가 진정되어 학생들이 안전한 환경에서 운동할 수 있는 날이 오기를 바란다”고 전했다.
