이날 운영위원회에서는 2021년 추진 사업에 대한 결산승인과 올 한해 자원봉사센터 사업 및 자원봉사 활동계획에 대한 설명을 진행하였으며, 자원봉사자들을 비롯한 지역사회가 함께 지혜를 모아 슬기로운 코로나19 위기 극복방안에 대한 의견을 나누었다고 했다.

지난 한 해 동안 코로나19로 자원봉사활동이 많이 위축된 상황에서 정선군 예방접종센터 지원, 방역활동, 자가격리자 응원 희망 키트 전달, 생활방역단 운영, 비대면 프로그램 목도리 뜨기 등 다양한 분야에서 자원봉사활동을 전개했으며, 금년에는 자원봉사자대회를 비롯해 찾아가는 청소년자원봉사단 및 특성화프로그램 운영, 자원봉사리더 역량강화 교육, 미래방범봉사단, 통합자원봉사지원단 운영 등을 추진할 계획이라고 전했다.

최승준 정선군수는 "자원봉사센터 운영위원들의 리더십과 경험에서 나오는 지혜을 모아 지역의 자원봉사자들이 소통하고 화합하는 자원봉사 활성화를 통해 군민 모두가 건강하고 행복한 삶을 살아갈 수 있도록 최선의 노력을 다해줄 것"을 당부했다고 했다.
