[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 6월 23일 오후 4시 가평군청소년문화의집은 지하1층, 지상3층의 시설 리모델링을 기념하는 '세상을 바꾸는 힘, 청소년과 함께' 행사를 갖고, 유연한 공간으로 거듭난 가평군청소년문화의집이 명실공히 청소년의 배움터, 놀이터로 변신한 모습을 선보였다고 밝혔다.   

가평 김성기 군수를 비롯해 가평군의회 배영식 의장, 경기도가평교육지원청 김화형 교육장, 가평군자원봉사센터 김금순 센터장 등 교육공동체 유관 기관장이 함께 참석한 가운데 진행된 이번 행사는 변화된 문화의집 시설을 둘러보고 청소년 방과후 아카데미 수업을 비롯하여 드론, VR체험, 3D프린터 등 4차 산업혁명 프로그램과 드럼, 피아노 연주 등을 시연하는 청소년들을 격려했다고 말했다.  

한편 이날 가평군청소년문화의집에 VR과 한글 프로그램을 후원한 한컴그룹 한컴아카데미 이시연대표와 컴퓨터 20대와 코로나19 극복 마스크 2,000매 등 교육기자재를 후원한 전국금융산업노동조합 KB국민은행 지부 류제강위원장 등이 참석하여 “앞으로도 가평군 청소년들의 건강한 성장을 위해 지속적인 관심과 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다. 

가평군청소년문화의집은 지난 2020년 1월14일 사단법인 한국스카우트연맹이 3년간 수탁받아 운영해 오고 있으며, 올해부터 4차산업혁명과 관련된 프로그램을 비롯하여 포스트 코로나에 대비한 미디어 프로그램 등을 개발하여 운영하고 있고, 또한 청소년의 참여 확대를 위한 청소년운영위원회 활성화와 가평군청소년참여위원회를 주관, 운영하고 있으며 2021 대한민국 아동총회 경기북부지역 대표 기관으로도 참여하고 있다고 했다.
