[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 12일 소흘읍 행정복지센터는 포천송우4단지 관리사무소에서 건강관리에 취약한 홀몸어르신 가구에 KF94 마스크 3,000매를 지원했다고 밝혔다.

박인석 관리사무소장은 “최근 코로나19 지역사회 감염에 대한 우려가 높아지는 가운데 감염에 노출되기 쉽고 건강관리에 취약한 홀몸어르신을 위해 마스크 지원을 추진했다. 단지 내 생활이 어려운 독거 어르신들께 조금이나마 도움이 되었으면 좋겠고, 앞으로도 입주민의 복지향상과 저소득계층에 지속적으로 더 많은 지원을 할 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.

최기진 소흘읍장은 “어려운 여건 속에서도 수년째 나눔을 실천하는 4단지 관리사무소에 깊이 감사드린다. 코로나19를 함께 이겨낼 수 있도록 지역사회 취약계층에 대한 지원사업에 지속적으로 관심을 가지고 지원을 아끼지 않겠다.”고 말했다. 

한편, 포천송우4단지 관리사무소는 지난 2016년부터 저소득 아동에게 식사쿠폰을 지원하는 등 393명에게 기부물품을 지원해왔고, 또한, 자체적으로 관리홈닥터를 운영하여 소외계층에게 꾸준한 지원을 하며 나눔 문화 확산에 기여하고 있다고 했다.
