[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 15일부터 17일까지 3일간 소흘읍행정복지센터는 ‘올바른 생활쓰레기 배출요령’ 캠페인을 펼쳤다고 밝혔다.

이번 캠페인은 최근 생활쓰레기 무단 배출 문제가 부각된 송우6리 마을회관 주변 상가와 주택, 이곡2리와 직동3리 전원주택 밀집지역을 중심으로 진행했으며, 상가와 주택을 직접 방문해 쓰레기 배출시간, 종량제 봉투 사용요령, 재활용 쓰레기 분리배출 방법 등 올바른 생활쓰레기 배출요령을 담은 홍보물을 전달했다고 했다.

특히, 이번 캠페인에는 지난 7일 소흘읍에 배치된 자원관리도우미가 주민의 입장에서 재활용품 분리 배출방법을 알려 주민 이해도를 높였다고 했다.

최기진 소흘읍장은 “쓰레기 배출시간 준수와 종량제 봉투의 올바른 사용만으로도 쓰레기 무단투기 문제를 해소할 수 있다.”며 “앞으로도 상습 쓰레기 무단투기 발생 지역을 중심으로 지속적인 캠페인 실시와 엄정한 단속을 병행하여 실시하겠다.”고 밝혔다.

한편, 소흘읍에서는 올해 상습 무단투기 지역 27개소를 집중관리지역으로 선정하여 자원관리도우미를 상시 배치 관리하고 있다고 전했다.
