[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 28일 소흘읍 주민자치위원회는 사랑의 쌀 나눔행사를 가졌다고 밝혔다.

이번 나눔은 소흘읍주민자치위윈회에 기탁된 20kg 백미 16포를 경제적으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 16가구에 전달하는 방식으로 진행됐다고 했다.

이미숙 위원장은 “어려운 이웃에게 조금이나마 따뜻한 위로가 되길 바란다. 앞으로도 나눔문화 확산을 위해 앞장서겠다.”고 말했다. 

최기진 소흘읍장은 “지역의 어려운 이웃을 위해 항상 솔선수범해주시는 소흘읍주민자치위원들과 기탁자분들께 감사드리며, 정이 넘치는 소흘읍을 만들기 위해 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 말했다.

소흘읍주민자치위원회는 올해 초에도 관내 취약계층을 위한 사랑의 꾸러미 나눔 행사를 시행한 데 이어 올해로 두 번째 쌀 나눔행사를 개최함으로써, 어려운 이웃들에게 따뜻한 마음을 전달했다고 전했다.
