[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 8월 18일부터 9월 5일까지 고성군은 고성군민의 사회적 관심사와 주관적 의식에 대한 기초 자료를 수집하는 '2022년 강원도·고성군 사회조사'를 실시한다고 밝혔다.

이번 조사는 고성군 750개 표본가구 내에 상주하는 만13세 이상 가구원을 대상으로, 방문조사와 인터넷 조사로 진행되며 방문조사는 조사원이 직접 가구를 방문하는 조사이고, 인터넷 조사는 조사대상 가구에서 온라인을 통해 직접 조사항목을 입력하는 조사이다. 

조사항목은 9개 부문으로 구성되어있으며 전국 공통 10개 항목과 강원도 27개 항목을 비롯하여 10개 고성군 특성항목을 포함해 총 47개 항목이며 건강, 가족과 가구, 사회통합, 안전, 지역산업, 환경 등 사회 구성원의 관심과 주관적 의식에 관한 내용이고 고성군 특성 항목은 건강 증진, 생활여건 변화, 정주의식, 자녀 교육, 창업수요 등으로 구성되어 있으며 수집된 자료는 군정 정책 수립 및 연구의 기초자료로 제공될 예정이고 조사 결과는 오는 2023년 4월에 확정·공표될 예정이다.

군은 조사를 앞두고 조사원 대상 조사지침교육을 오는 12일에 실시하고 18일부터 본 조사에 들어갈 방침이며 방문조사원들에게는 코로나19 감염 등을 대비하고자 마스크, 손소독제 등 안전용품이 배부된다.

군 관계자는 “사회조사는 군민의 삶의 질과 행복 지수 등을 알아보는 중요한 과정으로, 그 결과는 향후 정책 수립에 활용되어 고성군 발전을 앞당기는 밑거름이 된다.”며, “정확한 조사가 이루어질 수 있도록 군민 여러분의 적극적인 협조를 부탁드린다.”고 말했다.
