이날 김 당선인은 횡성군 문화 마케팅의 중요성을 언급하며 업무보고를 시작했으며 이어 문화재단과 체육회 등 출자·출연기관이 원활히 운영되기 위해 관련 전문가의 필요성과 각종 축제 개최 시 축제와 스포츠대회의 분리 등 선택과 집중의 중요성에 대해 이야기 했다고 했다. 

또한, 파크골프장 사업을 확대해 도 단위 대회가 유치될 수 있도록 추진할 것과 블랙이글스 등 현안에 대한 전략적 방향 제시의 필요성, 루지체험장 운영대행사 선정 시 이용객 수 확대를 위한 마케팅을 중점으로 둘 것을 주문하며 수익 창출에 대해 명확한 규정을 제시해야 함을 강조했다고 밝혔다.

이날 마지막 일정으로 진행된 기업경제과 업무보고에서는 횡성시장 활성화를 위해 횡성시장조합과 유기적으로 협력해 횡성시장이 실질적으로 탈바꿈할 수 있는 방안을 마련할 것과 소상공인 300만원 지원 공약에 대해 구체적인 실현 방법을 적극적으로 고민하고 모색할 것을 지시했다고 했다.
