[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 북부지방산림청은 2월 16일 16시 11분경에, 경기도 의정부시 금오동 산31-1 인근에서 발생한 산불을 17시 15분경 주불 진화 완료했다고 밝혔다.

지상에는 지휘차 2대, 진화차 2대, 서울국유림관리소장 외 공무원, 산불재난특수진화대, 예방진화대 등 인력 50명이 산불현장에 긴급 투입되어 조기에 진화 완료했다고 했다.

현재 정확한 산불 발생원인을 파악 중에 있으며, 북부지방산림청 산불방지대책본부에서는 산불방지를 위해 총력을 다 할 예정이라고 밝혔다.
