[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 27일, 홍천군 남면 지역사회보장협의체는 남면 행정복지센터에서 ‘온정나누기’ 행사를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

행사에는 남면 협의체 위원들과 각 리 이장들이 참여, 취약계층 50가구에 직접 가래떡을 전달하며 안부를 물었다고 전했다.

이웅재 민간위원장은 “지속되는 코로나19로 다가오는 설 명절에도 가족과 지인을 만나지 못하는 현재 상황 때문에 취약계층 분들이 더 외로움을 호소하고 있다”며 “그래서인지 다른 때보다 봉사자들을 더 반기고 고마워 했다”고 말했다.

유진수 남면장은 “하루 빨리 코로나가 종식되어 아무 때나 가족과 지인을 만날 수 있기를 바란다”며 “바쁘신 중에도 늘 지역 주민을 위해 힘써 주시는 협의체 위원들과 이장님들께 감사드린다”고 말했다.
