[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 9일, 가평군은 제15회 가평클린농업대학 졸업식을 온라인으로 진행 개최하였다고 밝혔다. 

코로나19 오미크론 변이 바이러스의 급격한 확산에 따른 정부의 특별방역조치 및 관내 코로나19 상황에 따라 기존 대면으로 추진예정이었던 졸업식은 참석인원을 최소로 하여 대면과 비대면을 병행하여 진행하게 되었고, 지난 12월 9일 온라인 졸업식에 앞서 지난 7일 사전 졸업식 행사를 진행하여, 클린농업대학 동문회 내빈과 3개과 수상자 대표 18명이 참석하여 약식으로 진행하였고, 제작된 영상물 중계 및 졸업식 행사는 9일 줌(ZOOM) 플랫폼을 통해 실시간 진행되었다고 했다.  

가평군수이자, 클린농업대학 학장이신 김성기 군수는“코로나19라는 어려운 상황 속에서도 1년 동안 열정을 다해 학업에 전념한 107명의 졸업생들에게 진심으로 축하드리고, 앞으로 가평농업을 이끌어 갈 유능한 인재로 성장하여, 가평농업 발전에 기여해 줄 것”을 당부했다.

한편 이날 졸업식에서는 농업대학 발전 및 학생회 운영에 기여한 공로자 43명에게 농촌진흥청장(김장호), 군의장상(반진한 외 7명), 총동문회 공로상(남대현 외 2명)표창과 성적우수상(양일심 외 6명) 개근상(박금옥 외 23명)이 수여되었고, 가평클린농업대학은 지난 2007년에 설립되어 그동안 1,723 명의 졸업생을 배출했으며 친환경귀농귀촌과, 농촌관광과, 농식품학과 3개과를 운영하고 있고, 2022년도 교육생 모집은 1월부터 모집할 예정이며, 4월부터 12월까지 130시간(9개월 간)의 학사운영을 추진할 예정라고 전했다.
