[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 3일 경기도 양주소방서는 소방서 3층 대회의실에서 화재현장에서 인명을 구조한 민간유공자에게 표창패를 수여했다고 밝혔다.

이날 표창을 수여받은 안오석·김일도씨는 지난 11월 24일 양주시 청담로 소재 창고화재 당시 화재를 인지하자마자 화마의 위험에도 불구하고 화재현장에 있던 거동이 불편한 요구조자 1명을 신속히 구조해 소중한 생명을 구한 공적이 있어 표창을 수여받았다고 했다.

박미상 양주소방서장은 “의인들의 용기있는 행동으로 소중한 생명을 구할 수 있었다.”며 “위기 상황에서도 용감한 시민정신을 발휘한 두분의 헌신에 깊은 감사를 드린다.”고 전했다.
