[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 포천시학교밖청소년지원센터에서는 9월부터 관내 학교 밖 청소년들을 대상으로 자기계발 프로그램인 드림캣독-반려동물 아로마 과정을 비대면으로 운영하고 있다고 밝혔다. 

자기계발 프로그램은 학교 밖 청소년들이 다양한 경험을 통해 잠재력을 발견하고, 이를 발달시킬 수 있도록 30시간 동안 진행되는 프로그램이라고 했다. 

이번에 진행되는 반려동물 아로마 과정은 반려동물이 사용할 수 있는 안전한 천연 아로마 제품을 만드는 과정이라고 전했다. 

센터 관계자는 “직접 제품을 만들고 강의 자격까지 부여되는 과정으로, 반려동물을 케어하는 만족감을 제공하고 반려동물과 관련한 시장 또는 산업에 관심 있는 청소년들에게 좋은 기회가 될 것으로 기대된다.”라고 말했다.

한편, 포천시학교밖청소년지원센터는 상담지원, 교육지원, 자립지원 등의 서비스를 제공하고 있으며, 학교 밖 청소년들의 참여에 따라 급식과 교통비를 지원하고 있고, 관심 있는 만 9세 이상 24세 이하의 학교 밖 청소년들은 포천시학교밖청소년지원센터로 문의하면 된다고 전했다.
