[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 포천시학교밖청소년지원센터는 학교 밖 청소년을 대상으로 진행된 자립기술훈련(ITQ 한글 과정)에서 2명이 합격하고 그중 한 명은 500점 만점으로 정보기술자격(ITQ) 아래한글 A등급을 취득하는 성과를 이뤘다고 밝혔다.

자립기술훈련은 정보화 시대에 필요한 능력을 향상시켜 안정적인 자립을 돕기 위해 학교 밖 청소년 5명을 대상으로 지난 6월부터 7월까지 매주 화, 목요일마다 운영했으며, 코로나19 방역수칙을 준수하며 진행됐다고 했다. 

하반기에는 굴착기, 지게차 관련 훈련 과정을 준비하고 있으며, 그 밖에도 자원봉사활동, 문화·예술체험, 자기계발 프로그램, 멘토링 등 다양한 프로그램을 진행 중이라고 했다.

한편, 포천시학교밖청소년지원센터는 만15세 이상 만24세 이하 학교 밖 청소년에게 자립을 지원하고 있다. 참여를 희망하는 학교 밖 청소년은 포천시학교밖청소년지원센터로 문의하면 된다고 전했다.
