[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 3일 포천시학교밖청소년지원센터는 대군정에서 관내 학교 밖 청소년을 대상으로 궁도 (활쏘기) 체험을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

궁도체험은 방역수칙을 준수한 가운데, 궁도소개, 안전교육 및 기초교육(예절 및 자세), 활쏘기 시범,  활쏘기 순으로 진행됐다고 전했다.

이번 활동에 참여한 한 청소년은 “궁도체험을 통해 선조들의 예와 사상을 배우고 나를 이긴 사람을 원망하지 않고 진심으로 상대방의 승리를 축하해주는 불원승자(不怨勝者)의 마음가짐을 실천해 볼 수 있었다.”고 소감을 밝혔다.

정태연 포천시 궁도협회장은 “학교 밖 청소년들과 함께 한 시간이 굉장히 뜻깊었다. 전통무예 진흥과 심신수련을 위한 활동으로 궁도를 추천한다.”고 말했다. 

한편, 포천시학교밖청소년지원센터의 문화·예술체험은 학교 밖 청소년들의 문화적 소외를 해소하고, 새로운 여가활동을 접하며 다양한 경험을 할 수 있도록 예술, 공예, 스포츠, 요리, 공연 등으로 구성되어 있다고 했다. 

참여를 원하는 만9세~24세 학교 밖 청소년은 언제든 신청이 가능하며, 자세한 내용은 포천시학교밖청소년지원센터로 문의하면 된다고 전했다.
