[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 16일 포천시학교밖청소년지원센터는 관내 학교 밖 청소년을 대상으로 기초소양교육(성·피임교육)을 비대면으로 실시했다고 밝혔다. 

청소년에게 정확한 성 지식을 제공하고자 기획된 이번 교육에서는 성적의사 결정권과 피임권에 대해 인구보건복지협회 전문 강사와 함께 이야기하는 시간을 가졌다고 했다. 

센터 관계자는 “청소년에게 성에 대한 책임과 성적 결정권에 대해 가르치는 것이 중요하다.”라며 “올바른 성교육을 통해 청소년들이 건전한 성문화를 이해하고 성에 대한 올바른 가치관을 정립할 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”라고 말했다.

한편, 포천시학교밖청소년지원센터는 상담지원, 교육지원, 자립지원 등의 서비스를 제공하고 있으며, 학교 밖 청소년들의 참여에 따라 급식과 교통비를 지원하고 있다고 했다. 

관심이 있는 만 9세 이상 24세 이하의 학교 밖 청소년은 포천시학교밖청소년지원센터로 문의하면 안내받을 수 있다고 전했다.
