[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 9일 포천시학교밖청소년지원센터는 관내 학교 밖 청소년을 대상으로 사이버범죄 예방교육을 실시했다고 밝혔다. 

코로나19 발생 이후 인터넷 사용이 급증하면서 사이버범죄에 대한 예방교육이 강조되고 있으며, 이에 청소년들이 많이 접하는 SNS 상의 범죄를 중심으로 청소년 사이버범죄 전반에 대한 예방교육을 진행했다고 했다. 

포천경찰서 경찰관들과 자신의 경험을 나누고 소통하며, 자신과 상관없는 이야기가 아님을 인지시켜 학교 밖 청소년들의 경각심을 고취시켰다고 했다. 

센터 관계자는 “사이버범죄 양상이 다양해지는 만큼 맞춤형 교육으로 범죄예방에 만전을 기하겠다.”라고 말했다.

한편, 포천시학교밖청소년지원센터는 상담지원, 교육지원, 자립지원 등의 서비스를 제공하고 있으며, 학교 밖 청소년들의 참여에 따라 급식과 교통비를 지원하고 있고, 관심이 있는 만 9세 이상 24세 이하의 학교 밖 청소년들은 포천시학교밖청소년지원센터로 문의하면 된다고 전했다.
