시는 2021년 1월부터 4월까지 동 행정복지센터에서 수행한 사례관리 운영실태와 복지사각지대 발굴 노력도 등을 세부적으로 파악하여, 업무 유공이 뛰어난 실무자를 포상하고, 업무별 개선이 필요한 사항은 하반기 역량강화 교육을 통해 보완하기 위한 목적으로 점검을 실시했다고 말했다. 

동 행정복지센터 모니터링 결과, 해당기간 동안 복지사각지대를 총 8,087건 발굴하여 맞춤형 복지서비스를 제공했고, 복잡한 위기상황에 놓인 48가구를 일반사례관리 대상자로 적극 선정해 지원 중인 것을 확인할 수 있었다고 했다. 

동두천시 관계자는 “동 행정복지센터와 협력하여, 우리시 통합사례관리 사업이 내실 있게 운영되도록 각별히 노력하고, 사례관리 가구의 자립기반을 조성하겠다”고 전했다.
