[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부시는 청년 취업난 해소와 지역일자리 창출을 위해 ‘2022년 지역주도형 청년일자리사업’을 추진해 참여를 희망하는 청년 및 기업을 모집한다고 밝혔다.

올해 의정부시 지역주도형 청년일자리사업은 지역혁신형 청년일자리와 사회적경제 청년인턴십 등 2가지 유형으로 진행되며, 기존 유형 중 지역정착형 사업도 지속 추진한다고 했다.

주요 내용으로는 지역혁신형 청년일자리 사업의 경우 지역 청년과 기업을 매칭‧채용해 최대 2년 동안 인건비의 80%를 제공하고 청년에 근속 장려를 지원하는 사업이며, 사회적경제 청년인턴십 사업은 지역 청년과 관내 사회적기업 등을 매칭‧채용해 최대 10개월 동안 인건비의 90%를 지원하고 청년에 직무교육 등을 제공하는 사업이라고 했다.

의정부시는 이번 사업을 통해 지역혁신형 청년일자리는 15명, 사회적경제 청년인턴십은 6명 등 총 21명의 청년을 선발할 예정이며, 공모를 통해 확보한 국도비 4억 92백만 원에 시비 2억 72백만 원을 매칭, 총 70억 64백만 원의 사업비가 투입되고, 2018년부터 현재까지 지역주도형 청년일자리 사업을 통해 115개의 청년 일자리를 창출해오고 있다고 전했다.

의정부시는 올해 각 사업별 공고를 통해 오는 1월 12일부터 22일까지 참여기업을 모집하고, 1월 29일부터 2월 9일까지 참여 청년을 모집할 계획이라고 했다. 

참여 대상은 경기도 내에 거주하는 19세 이상 39세 이하 미취업 청년이고, 관내의 중소기업 및 혁신‧뉴딜연계기업, 사회적기업 등과 매칭해 채용될 예정이며, 자세한 내용은 의정부시청 홈페이지 공고를 통해 확인할 수 있다고 전했다.
