지난 4월부터 시작된 2021 의정부시 청소년어울림마당은 코로나 19 바이러스로 인해 대면행사가 불가능해짐에 따라 기존 청소년 행사의 틀에 변화를 주어 유튜브 실시간 스트리밍 방식으로 진행됐다고 했다.

이날 폐막식은 위드코로나의 전환에 맞춰 방역수칙을 철저히 준수하는 가운데 대면·비대면의 블렌디드형식으로 운영됐으며, 의정부시 청소년 어울림마당에 열정적으로 참여한 우수동아리 표창수여를 시작으로 비보잉, 보컬, 댄스, 밴드, 치어리딩 등 청소년동아리와 다채로운 축하무대가 펼쳐졌고, 의정부시 동아리 연합회가 준비한 체험·이벤트 부스는 동아리별 자신만의 색깔을 담아 특색있게 운영됐으며, 코로나 속에서도 다양한 체험거리를 통해 문화·예술의 장을 청소년들에게 제공했다고 전했다.

의정부시청소년수련관 조경서 관장은 “청소년들이 직접 기획해 추진하는 어울림마당이 비록 올해 코로나로 인하여 모든 회차를 현장에서 즐기지 못해 아쉬움이 많이 남지만, 언택트 생활이 일상이 되고 있는 흐름에 따라 청소년들이 새로운 분야를 경험하고 적응할 수 있는 좋은 기회가 되었길 바란다.”고 말했다.
