[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강원도 대표 항공사 플라이강원이 정부의 코로나19 방역정책 전환에 발맞춰 국제선 복항을 위한 준비에 박차를 가하고 있다고 밝혔다.

우선, 코로나19 발생으로 인해 지난 2020년 2월에 단항했던 필리핀 클락을 오는 5월말경 주2회 복항을 목표로 준비하고 있고, 대만 타이페이와 신규 취항지인 홍콩, 마카오 등은 올해 7월초로 예정하여 준비하고 있으며, 추가로 베트남, 일본 중국의 주요도시와 운수권이 필요한 몽골 울란바타르 등의 취항도 계획하고 있다고 했다.

또한, 인바운드 관광 활성화를 위한 주요 동남아 국가의 단체승객 유치에 관한 부분도 관계기관과 협의 중에 있으며, 한편, 양양국제공항에 화물청사를 올해 8월말 완공 목표로 진행하고 있으며, 대형기 도빙 계약도 추진중이어서 하반기 본격적인 항공화물 운송사업에도 탄력을 받을 것으로 기대하고 있다고 전했다.
