[김준호 기자 = 동해시] 동해시(시장 심규언)가 올해 농정시책 6개분야 67개 사업에 지난해 97억여원 대비, 약 32% 가량 증가한 127억을 투입하여 농촌 활력을 도모한다고 밝혔다.

이에따라, 시는 농업인조직의 활성화를 위해 농업인단체 및 품목별연구회를 대상으로 분기별 회의 개최, 품목별 교육, 선진농장 견학, 선도농업인대회를 지속 추진하고, 농업인수당 및 여성농업인 복지바우처 지원사업을 통해 농업인들의 복지향상을 도모한다는 방침이다.

올해부터 새롭게 시행되는 반값농자재 지원사업을 추진하여, 농업경영체에 등록된 농업인을 대상으로 지정된 관내 농자재 판매업체를 통해 농자재를 구입할 경우, 논은 최대 60만원, 밭은 최대 180만원까지 사용금액의 50%를 지원하는 사업을 추진한다.
