[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동해시는 관내 기업을 대상으로 하는‘유망중소기업’신청을 오는 8월 8일부터 9월 2일까지 접수 받는다고 밝혔다.

유망중소기업 선정은 「동해시 기업인 예우 및 기업 활동 촉진에 관한 조례」에 의거, 신용상태, 기술 및 품질수준, 성장성, 지역경제 효과 등을 종합적으로 평가 후 선정된 기업에 대해 3년간 각종 기업 활동을 지원하는 제도이다.

동해시는 올해 유망중소기업으로 신규 4개소와 재인증 2개소를 선정한다. 신청대상은 본사 및 공장과 대표자 주소지가 동해시 소재여야 하고, 연간 총 매출액 3억 원 이상, 공장 등록 후 2년 이상 가동 중인 중소 제조기업이다.

유망 중소기업으로 선정되면 5억 원 한도 내 융자 추천과 융자금액에 대한 이자 3.5%를 2년간 지원하며, 또, 2억 원 한도 내 특례보증, 해외 수출시장 판로 확대 우선권, 시 상징물 사용권, 인증서 및 현판 수여 등의 지원을 받을 수 있다.

최용봉 투자유치과장은 “관내 역량 있는 중소기업이 코로나19로 위축돼 있어 포스트 코로나 시대에 위기를 기회로 전환하고자 하는 많은 기업이 신청하길 바라며, 선정된 기업은 대내외 경쟁력을 갖춘 기업으로 성장할 수 있도록 경영안정, 판로촉진 등 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 동해시는 지난 2008년부터 유망 중소기업 총 28개소를 선정해 기업 경영안정 및 판로촉진을 위한 인센티브를 제공해 왔다.
