[남상훈 기자 = 양양군] 지난 10월 18일부터 28일까지 양양군은 음식문화개선운동추진위원회 주관으로 현지조사와 심의를 거쳐 2022년도 관내 모범음식점 31개 업소를 지정했다고 밝혔다.

양양군보건소는 민간위원과 담당공무원이 동행하여, 좋은 식단 이행 기준 준수 여부와 위생·서비스 수준, 음식문화 개선 노력 등의 종합적인 기준에 따랐으며 지역별로는 양양읍 14개소, 손양면 8개소, 현남면 6개소, 강현면 3개소로 양양군 보건소 홈페이지에서 지정현황이 확인 가능하다.

모범음식점으로 지정된 업소는 모범업소 표지판과 지정증이 교부되며,  상수도 사용료 30% 감면, 쓰레기 종량제봉투 지원, 영업시설개선 자금 우선 융자 등 다양한 인센티브가 부여된다. 

한편, 모범음식점은 식품접객업소 중 위생수준이 우수하고, 좋은 식단 이행 기준을 준수하고 있는 업소로서 '식품위생법'과 '모범업소 지정 및 운영관리 규정'에 따라 전체 음식점의 5% 이내에서 지정이 가능하다.

군 관계자는 “모범음식점이 이용객이 신뢰할 수 있는 지역 대표 음식점으로 여겨지는 만큼, 깔끔한 위생 상태와 친절한 서비스로 음식점을 방문하는 고객들에게 만족감을 줄 수 있도록 정기 재심사 등을 통하여 지속적인 관리를 해 나갈 계획이다”라고 했다.
