[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 25일, 양양군정신건강복지센터는 양양군보건소 3층 회의실에서 '양양모범운전자회와 자살예방과 생명존중을 위한 지역사회 네트워크 구축 업무협약'을 체결했다고 밝혔다

이번 업무협약으로 양양모범운전자회에 심리상담, 정신건강 교육 등을 지원하게 되며, 택시 23대에 ‘생명사랑 홍보 캠페인’ 미디어 영상 송출로 지역주민과 관광객을 대상으로 자살예방 및 생명존중문화 분위기를 조성해 나가기로 했다고 전했다.

권성준 양양군보건소장은 “코로나19가 장기화됨에 따라 누구나 우울감을 겪게 될 수 있다”며, “모든 군민이 정서적인 어려움 없이 건강한 생활을 할 수 있도록 노력 하겠다”고 말했다.

또한 양양군정신건강복지센터는 3월 31일, 양양양수발전소와 오는 4월 1일에는  법무부 속초준법지원센터와도 업무협약을 체결하며, 이를 통해 자살예방 및 생명존중을 위한 활동을 지속적으로 확대해 나갈 계획이라고 밝혔다.
