속초소식지인‘속초홀릭’은 지난 2월부터 모바일소식지를 발행하며 스마트폰을 통해 손 안에서 간편하게 속초 소식을 볼 수 있도록 했으며, 특히 어르신, 장애인 등 정보취약계층을 위해 읽어주는 기능을 탑재해 큰 호응을 얻고 있다. 

읽어주는 모바일 소식은 스마트폰에서 URL 접속 후 기사 우측 상단의 헤드폰 모양 버튼을 누르면 들을 수 있으며 속초시 카카오톡 채널 추가를 통해 메시지로도 받아볼 수 있다.
