[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 4월 20일부터, 한국농어촌공사 홍천춘천지사 횡성지소가 횡성군 관내 농업인들의 고객 서비스 제고와 횡성군과의 협력관계 강화를 위해 운영에 들어간다고 밝혔다. 

한국농어촌공사는 유지관리사업 및 농지은행사업 업무를 위하여 담당 직원 각 1명씩을 배정하여 횡성지소를 운영하며, 장소는 대동여자중학교 진입로인 횡성연립 앞 횡성군 횡성읍 대동로 2이며, 시설물 유지관리를 위한 업무는 급수기인 4월부터 오는 9월까지 매주 화요일과 목요일, 농지은행 업무는 매주 금요일 운영된다고 했다.

횡성군 관내 농어촌공사가 관리하는 시설물은 저수지 7개소 및 양수장 4개소, 취입보 1개소이며, 이번 횡성지소 운영에 따라 용배수로 및 시설물 유지관리 등 민원 사항에 대한 신속한 처리와 함께 농지은행사업 이용 편의 증진을 위한 현장 상담 업무가 이뤄져, 주민들이 한국농어촌공사 홍천춘천지사를 방문해왔던 불편이 해소될 것으로 기대된다고 전했다. 

김석희 건설과장은 “앞으로도 한국농어촌공사와 업무협의를 통해 주민 불편사항을 해소하기 위하여 지속적으로 노력해나가겠다.”고 밝혔다.
