[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 20일부터 내달 13일까지 태백시는 장애인 소득감소와 빈곤문제를 해소하고자 장애인복지급여 지원에 대한 집중 홍보로 대상자 발굴에 나선다고 밝혔다.

장애인복지급여에는 장애인연금 및 장애(아동)수당이 있는데, 장애인연금은 장애인연금법상 18세이상 중증장애인(1~2급 및 3급 중복장애자)중 본인과 배우자의 월 소득인정액이 선정기준액 이하인 대상자에게 지급하며 소득인정액에 따라 월 20,000원에서 최대 387,500원까지 지급하고, 장애인연금법상 중증장애인에 해당하지 않는 18세 이상의 장애인(3~6급)은 장애수당을, 18세 미만 장애인은 장애아동수당을 지원받을 수 있으며, 장애(아동)수당은 기초생활수급자 및 차상위계층에 해당해야 하며 장애수당은 월 최대 40,000원, 장애아동수당은 장애의 정도 및 소득에 따라 월 30,000원에서 최대 220,000원까지 받을 수 있다고 전했다. 

태백시 장애인복지급여 수급자는 장애인연금 수급자 416명, 장애수당 수급자 704명, 장애아동수급자 9명 등 1,129명이며, 상담 및 신청은 관할 주소지 동 행정복지센터에서 할 수 있다고 했다.

태백시 관계자는 “지원 대상자가 빠짐없이 혜택 받을 수 있도록 대상자 발굴에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
