[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시청소년수련관은 여성가족부가 주최하고 한국청소년활동진흥원이 주관하는 2022년 ‘꿈과 사람속으로 청소년해외자원봉사단’ 프로그램 운영기관으로 선정됐다고 전했다. 

탄(절탄생활로)탄(탄소중립) 프로그램은 기후변화 대응에 대하여 태백 관내 청소년들이 해외 청소년들과 함께 다양한 형태의 비대면 봉사활동으로 진행하며, 기후변화 대응에 맞는 환경 키트를 제작하여 해외 청소년들에게 키트를 보내 온라인 교류활동도 함께 진행할 예정이라고 했다.

청소년해외봉사단의 활동은 환경키트를 활용한 영상 제작 및 기후 변화 대응 콘텐츠 영상 제작 및 편집, 해외 청소년들에게 영상 편지 쓰기, 평가회의 등 오는 5월부터 9월까지 총 8회기로 진행하며, 모집 계획은 태백 관내 청소년 만 15세∼만24세 청소년으로 15명 모집할 예정이라고 했다.

김한섭 관장은 “청소년해외봉사단 탄(절탄생활로)탄(탄소중립) 프로그램을 통해 태백 관내 청소년의 세계시민교육 이해와 기후 변화 대응에 한발 앞장서는 청소년해외봉사단이 될 수 있도록 적극적으로 지원하겠다” 고 말했다.
