코로나19 감염 예방을 위해 비대면ZOOM으로 진행되는 이번 위촉식에서는 위촉장 수여식, SNS활동 및 콘텐츠 제작방법 교육, 단체촬영을 시작으로 제10기 SNS서포터즈가 힘찬 출발을 한다고 했다.

제10기 강릉시 SNS서포터즈는 지난 1월 공개 모집을 통해 3.2대 1의 경쟁률 속에 25명의 서포터즈 선발을 마쳤다고 전했다. 

20대에서 60대까지 구성된‘제10기 강릉시 SNS서포터즈’는 시의 다양한 이야기와 매력을 SNS로 전파하게 되는데, 특히 행사와 축제 등 시정 소식, 유용한 생활 정보 등을 시민에게 알리며 시와 시민 간 가교역할을 수행하게 된다고 했다.

이들 중 15명은 강릉시 공식 블로그에서, 5명은 시 페이스북과 인스타그램에서 활용할 사진 콘텐츠를, 유튜브 서포터즈 5명은 개인 채널에서 문화, 골목길․바우길 등 시의 다채로운 모습을 알리기 위해 영상으로 제작, 홍보한다고 했다.
