한편 이날 준공식에는 장신상 군수를 비롯해 횡성군 권순근 의장, 도시교통과 조관식 과장 등 100명 내외의 인원이 참석하며 경과보고 및 축사, 테이프 커팅 등이 진행된다고 했다. 

장신상 군수는 “공사 진행 과정에서 차량 통행, 소음, 먼지 등으로 매우 불편하셨을텐데도 인내하고 협조해 주신 주민분들에게 깊이 감사드린다. 앞으로도 우리 군에서는 살기 좋은 도시 조성과 군민 편의를 위해 주차난 해결에 더욱 많은 관심과 노력을 기울여나가도록 하겠다.”고 말했다.
