이날 만남은 의정부시 농민기본소득 지원 조례 제정으로 의정부시 농민들이 2022년부터 농민기본소득을 받게 됨에 따라 감사를 표시하고 농민기본소득 지원에 따른 위원회 구성 시 농업인 단체 임원들이 많이 참여할 수 있도록 독려하는 차원에서 마련됐다고 했다.
