이번 ‘우수’ 기관 선정으로 동해시는 보건복지부 장관상을 수여 받게 됐으며, 공모전은 제15회 전국 지역사회보장협의체 역량 강화 컨퍼런스 대회의 일환으로, 전국 시군구를 대상으로 한 심사를 거쳐 최종 4개 지자체가 최종 선정됐다고 했다.

시상식은 오는 25일 여수엑스포 컨벤션센터에서 개최되는 제15회 전국 지역사회보장협의체 역량 강화 컨퍼런스 대회에서 진행된다고 전했다.

공모전을 통해 선정된 우수사례 4편은 변화하는 지역사회보장 환경에서의 지역사회보장협의체 역할과 기능 점검, 민관협력 활성화 방안 마련 등에 도움을 주기 위해 전국 지역사회보장협의체에 공유할 계획이라고 했다.

이지예 복지과장은 “앞으로도 시와 동 지역사회보장협의체와 협력하여 지역 내 복지 사각지대 해소를 위해 노력하겠으며, 특히 코로나19 단계적 일상 회복 정책에 발맞추어 그동안 코로나19로 위축되었던 취약계층에 대한 모니터링을 통해 빠른 일상 회복을 지원하고, 협의체가 지역 주민의 복지 향상을 위해 다양한 민관협력사업을 추진할 수 있도록 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
