시정부에 따르면 보건복지부 주관 ‘2021년 찾아가는 보건복지서비스 제공 분야 우수 지자체 평가’에서 춘천은 강원도에서 유일하게 보건복지부 장관상을 수상했다고 했다.

찾아가는 보건복지서비스 제공 분야 우수 지자체 평가는 매년 우수 지자체를 선정·포상하고 모범 사례를 발굴·확산하기 위한 지역복지사업 평가다고 했다.

‘선한 이웃 마을돌봄 프로젝트’를 통해 시정부는 마을 돌봄 인프라 구축, 마을 돌봄 공공서비스 강화, 생활권역 마을 돌봄 실행 등으로 주민 주도 지역보호체계를 구축했다는 우수한 평가를 받았다고 전했다.

2단계는 위기가구 발굴을 위한 선한 이웃 프로젝트 운영, 공무원 전문교육과정 운영, 읍면동 건강관리서비스 의무화, 지역사회보장협의체 개편 및 지원으로 마을 돌봄 공공서비스 강화의 내실화를 다졌다고 했다.

3단계는 현재 진행 중으로 지난해부터 25개 읍면동에서 총 63개의 주민주도 마을복지계획을 수립하여 실행하고 있다고 전했다.
