모집 기관은 장애인 활동지원 및 발달장애인 주간활동 서비스 제공기관 각 1곳씩이며, 장애인 활동지원 제공기관은 지난 2013년 이후 추가 지정이 없어 매년 증가하는 이용자들의 활동지원 연계에 어려움을 겪고 있다고 했다.

이를 해소하고자 활동보조 서비스 제공 능력과 경험이 있는 공공·비영리 법인과 단체를 대상으로 1곳을 추가 지정할 예정이며, 발달장애인 주간활동 서비스 제공기관의 경우 올해 혁신도시 내에 1곳을 지정했으나, 기업도시를 중심으로 지정, 문막 등에 거주하는 장애인이 늘어남에 따라 1곳을 추가 지정하기로 했고, 대상은 발달장애인 대상 서비스 제공 능력 및 경험이 있는 공공･비영리･민간기관 등이라고 했다.

지정을 원하는 기관은 원주시 홈페이지 공고문을 참고해 오는 24일부터 26일까지 원주시청 경로장애인과를 직접 방문해 접수하면 된다고 했다.
