[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 10월 27일 재단법인 의정부시평생학습원은 한국다문화복지협회 일자리상담센터와 직업교육 및 취업지원을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

(재)의정부시평생학습원과 한국다문화복지협회 일자리상담센터는 이번 업무 협약을 통해 의정부시 평생교육 진흥을 위하여 공동으로 협력하고, 일자리 창출을 위한 직업교육 프로그램 운영과 국민취업지원제도를 통하여 청년·중장년·경력단절여성의 창·취업을 지원하는 등 양 기관 간 상호협력을 도모하기로 했다고 전했다. 

송원찬 (재)의정부시평생학습원장은 “직업능력 교육 분야를 강화하고자 평생직업교육센터를 구축하여 여러 직업교육 프로그램을 운영하는 가운데, 이번 업무협약은 시민을 위한 학습형일자리를 창출하는데 보탬이 될 것”이라고 밝혔다.
