[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 재단법인 의정부시평생학습원은 시민의 삶의 질 향상과 학습공동체 형성을 도모하기 위한 권역평생학습센터에서 특성화 학교 중심의 프로그램을 운영한다고 밝혔다. 

의정부시 권역평생학습센터는 시민의 생활권 근거리 학습을 제공하고자 흥선, 호원, 송산권역에 각각 위치하였으며, 백세학교, 디딤돌학교, 공감학교라는 명칭으로 2022년 1학기인 오는 4월부터 6월까지 총 24개의 특성화 프로그램을 운영할 예정이라고 전했다. 

백세학교(흥선평생학습센터)에서는 건강한 노후준비를 위한 교육, 디딤돌학교(호원평생학습센터)에서는 인생 재도약을 준비하는 전문교육, 공감학교(송산평생학습센터)에서는 학습공동체 조성을 위한 인문 감성 증진을 위한 교육으로 구성되어 있고, 교육신청은 오는 3월 21일부터 의정부시평생학습원 홈페이지를 통해서 인터넷 접수할 수 있으며, 자세한 사항은 전화 문의 또는 홈페이지를 참고하면 된다고 했다.

송원찬 평생학습원장은 “권역평생학습센터 특성화 학교에서 차별화된 프로그램을 수강함으로써 평생학습의 즐거움을 경험하고 다양한 학습공동체 형성의 기반이 될 수 있기를 바란다”고 말했다.
