[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 9일 GH가 수탁운영 중인 경기도 주거복지센터는 도내 주거복지서비스 강화를 위해 고양시 주거복지센터와 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

고양시 주거복지센터에서 열린 이 날 협약식에는 경기도 주거복지센터, 고양시주거복지센터, 부천시주거복지센터, 수원시주거복지센터, 시흥시주거복지센터 등 관계자 10여 명이 참가했다고 했다.

주요 협약 내용은 주거복지 관련 정책 및 사업발굴, 주거복지 관련 역량강화를 위한 학습 및 정보교류, 주거복지 상담 및 관련 업무의 상호 연계협력, 주거권 관련 도민의 권리구제 활동 등이라고 했다.

이번 협약을 통해 경기도 주거복지센터는 고양시 주거복지센터와 긴밀히 협업해 주거복지 사각지대를 해소하겠다는 계획이라고 전했다. 

강현숙 경기도 주거복지센터장은 “이번 협약을 계기로 단순히 저렴한 주거공간을 제공해주는 것에서 벗어나 도내 주거 취약계층에게 다양한 서비스가 지원될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

한편 경기도 주거복지센터는 이번 고양시를 비롯해 수원시, 시흥시, 부천시 등 현재까지 4개 시․군 주거복지센터와 업무 협약 체결을 완료했다고 밝혔다.
