[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부] 30일 경기도 주거복지센터는 도내 주거복지서비스 강화를 위해 부천시 주거복지센터와 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

GH 본사 4층 회의실에서 열린 이날 협약식에는 경기도, 경기도 주거복지센터, 부천시 주거복지센터, 수원주거복지센터, 시흥주거복지센터 등 관계자 10여명이 참가했다고 전했다.

주요 협약 내용은 주거복지 관련 정책 및 사업발굴, 주거복지 관련 역량강화를 위한 학습 및 정보교류, 주거복지 상담 및 관련 업무의 상호 연계협력, 주거권 관련 도민의 권리구제 활동 등이라고 했다.

이번 협약을 통해 경기도 주거복지센터는 부천시 주거복지센터와 긴밀한 협업체계를 바탕으로 주거복지 사각지대 제로화 시대로 나아간다는 계획이라고 했다.

강현숙 경기도 주거복지센터장은 “이번 협약을 계기로 단순히 저렴한 주거공간을 제공해주는 것에서 벗어나 주거복지 사각지대에 있는 도내 주거취약계층에게 다양한 서비스가 지원될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다” 고 말했다.

한편 경기도주거복지센터는 2019년 4월 경기도와 협약을 통해 경기주택도시공사가 위수탁 운영하고 있고, 현재까지 수원시, 시흥시, 부천시 3개 시․군 주거복지센터와 협약을 체결하였으며 향후 주거복지 업무의 상호연계를 위해 협력을 강화해나갈 예정이라고 전했다.
