이날 최용덕 시장은 궁도장 활터 실내인테리어 및 과녁 후면 보호매트 설치 등 시설 개보수 현장을 둘러봤고, 아울러 앞으로 우수한 자연환경을 갖춘 동두천시 궁도장에서 각종 대회가 개최될 수 있도록 궁도장 시설 기능보강에 힘쓰겠다고 전했다.

또한 전철1호선 소요산역에서 5분 거리인 소요별앤숲테마파크 인근에 조성한 마을운동시설을 찾아 주민들과 소통하며 코로나19 확산 방지를 위한 사회적 거리두기 방역 수칙 준수에 적극 동참해줄 것을 당부했다.
