[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 19일 동두천시는 장애인게이트볼장 화장실을 개선하여 이용자들의 불편 사항을 해소했다고 밝혔다. 

동두천시에 따르면 장애인게이트볼장의 기존 포세식 화장실을 수세식으로 개선하고 화장실 앞 50㎡에 투수블록을 설치해 보행에 불편함이 없도록 마무리 공사를 완료했다고 했다. 

최용덕 동두천시장은 “이번 장애인게이트볼장 화장실 시설개선을 통해 시민들이 불편 없이 게이트볼을 즐길 수 있을 것으로 보이며, 앞으로 노후 체육시설을 단계적으로 개선 정비해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
