[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 17일, 동두천시 생연1동 새마을부녀회는 지역사회 보장협의체의 후원으로 '사랑의 밑반찬 나눔 봉사'사업을 추진하고 결연대상자 30가구에 정성 가득한 밑반찬을 전달했다고 밝혔다.

이날 부녀회원들은 아침 일찍부터 참여하여 김치등갈비찜, 멸치꽈리고추볶음, 북어찜, 겉절이 등 정성스런 밑반찬을 준비하였으며 마스크 착용, 손 소독 등 방역수칙을 철저히 지키며 결연을 맺은 30여 가구를 방문하여 이웃의 안부를 확인하였다고 전했다.

안경녀 부녀회장은 “코로나19로 바깥 출입에 어려움을 겪고 있는 이웃들에게 따스한 한 끼를 전달하게 되어 기쁘다”며 “앞으로 지역사회를 위해 꾸준히 봉사할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다. 

남상만 생연1동장은 “자발적으로 봉사에 참여해주신 새마을 부녀회원들께 감사드린다”며 “소외계층에게 많은 관심과 사랑을 나누어 훈훈하고 정이 넘치는 지역사회가 될 수 있도록 더욱 노력하겠다”고 전했다.
