[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 경기도가 3월부터 도내 여성새로일하기센터 28개소에서 경력단절 여성 등의 취업역량을 강화하기 위해 소프트웨어 테스팅(검증) 전문가 등 122개 직업교육훈련 과정을 제공한다고 16일 밝혔다.

올해 총 2천412명 교육생을 모집하는 가운데 교육훈련 과정은 크게 5개 분야로 고부가가치 11개 과정, 기업 맞춤형 14개 과정, 전문기술 11개 과정, 역량 강화 및 일반과정 86개 과정 등이다. 

구체적으로 소프트웨어와 모바일 애플리케이션 등을 검증(테스트)해 의도한 대로 작동하는지 확인하는 ‘소프트웨어 테스팅(검증) 전문가’, ‘인공지능 코딩 전문가’ 등 4차 산업, 금융·보험, 의료, 서비스 등 다양한 분야에서 전문인력을 양성해 지역사회 및 산업체 요구에 필요한 교육과정을 운영할 계획이다.

모집 과정별로 인원, 일정, 교육 기간 등이 다르니 교육을 희망하는 여성은 새일센터 대표전화 또는 경기도 누리집 정보공개의 사전정보공표 221번 여성 교육정보(직업교육훈련)에서 교육 일정 등 세부 사항을 확인하고 신청하면 된다.

새일센터 직업교육훈련 교육생으로 선발되면 직업교육훈련과 함께 취업 상담, 인턴십, 취업 연계 및 사후관리 등 통합(원스톱) 취업 지원 서비스를 받을 수 있다. 2022년 직업교육훈련 수료생 1천986명의 평균 취업률이 70.2%(1천394명)에 달했다.

변상기 경기도 고용평등과장은 “저출산·고령화에 따른 생산인구 부족에 대응하기 위해 향후 여성의 경제활동 참여가 중요하다”며 “경기도는 지역 산업과 연계한 양질의 직업교육훈련을 확대해 경력단절 여성 등의 고용복귀를 지원하고, 나아가 재직 여성들의 경력단절을 예방하기 위한 역량개발 지원을 강화해 나가도록 하겠다”고 말했다.
