집무실 축소와 공유 회의공간 마련은 지난 7월부터 안 부시장과 6급 이하 직원들로 구성된 조직문화개선 워킹그룹에서 소통과 개방, 협업과 창의적인 일 처리 방식에 대해 다양한 의견을 공유하면서 제시된 의견으로 안 부시장이 적극 수용하면서 추진됐으며 그동안 꾸준히 지적돼왔던 경직된 조직문화와 비효율적인 일 처리 방식 등의 문제점을 개선하기 위해, 가변이 가능한 테이블과 실용적이고 간편한 사무가구를 배치해 공간을 효과적으로 활용할 수 있게 했고, 대형 모니터를 설치해 종이 출력물 대신 PC를 통한 회의로 친환경·비용절감·효율적 업무추진이 가능해졌다.
