[장선희 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 6일 동두천시체육회는 2021년 6월 9일부터 시행되는 개정된 국민체육진흥법에 따라 법정특수법인 설립을 위한 창립총회를 시체육회에서 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 창립총회에는 법인설립 준비위원 5명이 회의에 참석했으며, 이철훈 시체육회 부회장이 법인설립준비위원회 임시의장으로 선출됐다고 했다. 

이날 총회에서는 총 4건의 심의사항인 법인정관 제정(안), 임원 선임(안), 재산 출연(안), 주사무소 설치(안)을 각각 의결했다고 말했다.

박용선 동두천시체육회장은 “이번 법인화 추진에 따라 법적인 공공단체로 위상이 정립되어, 더욱 안정적인 조직기반 구축이 기대된다. 법적 권리가 부여되는 만큼, 시체육회의 발전과 시민의 건강증진을 위해 책임을 다할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

시체육회는 시에 법인 인가신청 후 설립등기 과정을 마치면, 오는 6월 9일부터 지방체육 진흥을 위한 특수법인 지위를 가지고 새롭게 출범하게 된다고 했다.
