[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동해시는 이번달 말일까지 불법전용 농지에 대한 집중단속을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

점검대상은 관내 지목이 전·답·과수원인 농지로 시는 자체 점검반을 편성해 자재야적, 포장, 골재포설, 자동차 및 건설기계 주기 등 용도변경을 비롯해 불법 절성토 행위 등 농지전용 허가 없이 불법 전용된 농지에 대한 집중 조사를 실시할 계획이라고 했다.

적발된 불법전용 농지에 대해서는 선(先) 계도 (원상회복 명령) 후 미이행 시 고발 등의 행정처분 조치가 이뤄질 예정으로 시는 특히, 최근 개정된 '농지법'에 따라 원상회복 명령을 받은 후 이행하지 않은 경우 이행강제금(개별공시지가의 100분의 25)을 부과할 수 있도록 조항이 신설된 만큼, 농지 불법전용 위법행위에 대한 행정 조치를 더욱 강화할 방침이라고 전했다.

이달형 도시과장은 “불법전용 농지 자체점검을 통해 법질서를 확립하고 농지관리를 내실화 할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.
