[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부시는 행복마을 지킴이와 금오지구대 경찰관으로 합동단속반을 구성하고 의정부1동 우범지역 내 야간 음주 행위와 노숙행위를 단속하였다고 밝혔다.

이번 단속에 나선 우범지역은 하천구역과 공원 내 노숙행위 및 음주 행위로 이용객들이 불편을 겪는 곳으로 선정하였으며, 코로나19 수도권 사회적 거리두기 4단계 격상에 따라 방역 수칙을 위반한 야간 음주 행위를 집중적으로 단속하였다고 말했다. 

의정부1동 행복마을관리소는 생활밀착형 공공서비스 제공과 지역특화사업 발굴 등 지역 활성화를 위해 운영 중으로 지난달에는 빈 화분을 가져오면 반려 식물을 심어주는 ‘빈 화분 다오, 꽃 담아 줄게~’를 진행하여 재활용된 화분을 통해 코로나19 확산으로 고립된 주민들에게 응원의 메시지를 전달하였다고 했다.

권영일 일자리정책과장은 “행복마을 지킴이들이 관내 우범지역 순찰 표를 작성하여 지역을 순찰하고 방역 수칙 위반사항을 계도 단속할 예정이다.”라며 “앞으로도 행복마을관리소가 안전한 마을환경 조성과 코로나19 확산 방지에 기여하도록 노력하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
