[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 국민의힘 강수현 양주시장 후보가 지난 20일, 경기섬유종합지원센터 컨벤션홀에서 열린 장애인복지분야 정책토론회에서 “적극 행정으로 장애인의 권리를 확대하는 방안을 보장하겠다”는 약속을 했다고 밝혔다.

강 후보는 이날 토론에서 “공급자 중심이 아닌 이용자 중심의 복지 서비스를 추진하겠다”고 말했다.

강 후보는 “장애인에게 이동권은 근본적 기본권과 직결된다. 이동권이 확보되지 못하면 교육, 치료, 여가 등 일상의 모든 것이 위태로워진다”면서 “36년 동안 공직에 몸담은 만큼 추진력 있는 행정을 보여드리겠다”고 강조했다.
